Sunshowers, rainbows and rumbling clouds

This past weekend I spent the day shooting the beautiful wedding of Natasha and James out at Cypress Lakes Resort in Pokolbin. We had a stunningly perfect warm day and Natasha looked equally gorgeous in her gown. There were a few spots of rain during the ceremony, but it didnt dampen thew smiles of anyone there. During our location shoot we encountered every bit of weather from sunshowers, to blinding sun, to massive rumbling storm clouds to beautiful rainbows. Lots of laugher was had as we climbed through feilds (myself barefoot!) and stopped trafic on a main road so we could get some beautiful country road images. Thanks for having us be a part of your day guys! We had a ball! Congratulations!

Our Big News!

We have been holding out for some time now waiting to be allowed to make the announcement, but we can now very proudly say that Candice Campbell Photography is currently being featured on the front cover of Your Hunter Valley Wedding Planner magazine with a wonderful image from my day with Cassie and Donald! Be sure to check it out and look for our bonus voucher in the last few pages of the magazine as well!

This past weekend was quite a busy one for Candice Campbell Photography! Not only am I still catching up on everyones enquiries from while we were away, we are also in the process of getting our new studio in Largs set up! I also had a huge sunday of shooting, with a sunrise shoot in the morning and a newborn shoot in the afteroon. Busy Busy day!

At 4am on Sunday morning, my alarm went off telling me to get up and get ready to head to the Watagans for a very early morning shoot! Jasmin and Ted were down from Dubbo for their first wedding anniversary, so decided to celebrate the occassion with a sunrise picnic photoshoot in the Pine Forest at the top of the Watagans. A year ago on their wedding day, we attempted to get up to the Pine Forest for their wedding photos, but due to the rain we had been having a week prior, my car could not make it that far up the mountain. So we waited a year and took the opportunity to create something magical! And I think we did just that! We couldnt have asked for a better morning for it!

After packing up our picnic and playing tetris to get it all back into the suitcases and into my car, I started my trek home to get ready for my next shoot, a newborn shoot with an adorable little man named Saxon! Saxon was a dream to work with! the most absolutely chilled out little bub who was happy to snuggle into any little place we put him. I couldv'e just kept him there, but I think his parents would rather take him home! Hahaha!

I feel so blessed to have all the amazing clients I have! I really do feel I get to work with the best couples out there! One of my couples even arrived at the studio yesterday with a hand made present for me as well as a little present for Luna Kitten! I really do feel like I get the most awesome weddings ever! So thankyou to all the couples and families who have chosen me to capture the most special moments of their life! I really am touched to be a part of your lives!

We are back from Thailand!

Hi Everybody! We have been a little quiet for the past few weeks as we have been away having a little break in Thailand! But now we are back! So to fill you in on a what happened just before we left, and what has happened since our return.

Before our Thailand trip, I spend an afternoon shooting an amazing couple at a very awesome location! The theme was a cinderella fairytale theme and i think Steph and Michael did the theme justice! We were blessed with the most spectacular warm pink light that afternoon.

Since we returned, we have shot the stunning wedding of Samantha and Simon at Two Rivers at Denman. Kylie and I both had an absolute ball working with this couple and Simons adorable children, as well as a very funky bridal party!

We are now getting into a very busy season and will be shortly starting our move to our new studio in Largs! We will keep you all posted on the process of the move.
