Jacinta and Shannon tie the knot and Jess trashes the dress

This past weekend was avery busy one indeed. On Saturday we headed up to Hawkes Nest for Jacinta and Shannon's wedding. It was a very windy day on Bennetts beach but the sun was shining and the water was beautiful and turquoise. A big congratulations to them on their special day. It was a beautiful wedding and we wish you a very happy life together! Thankyou for allowing us to be part of your day!

On Sunday afternoon we met Jessica over at Weston to do a trash the dress shoot. This was a rather fun shoot to be involved with. I had found the location a few weeks ago and have been dying to use it, and was stoked when Jessica asked to be involved with a trash the dress shoot. The location was is Weston where a bush fire had been. The colours and tones in the area were spectacular and so inspiring. It was a short, but very fun shoot that involved a lot of getting dirty! Thanks for shooting with us Jess!

Vines and Gelato

On sunday I had the joy of doing a couples shoot with Nick and Kel out at Tempus Two Vineyard at Pokolbin. The day started out being very muggy with a thick cloud cover. Not the most ideal light for what I was doing, but I ran with it. When Nick and Kel turned up we explored the vines to pick the best places to shoot. After much laughter, falling over, trying sour grapes and pointing at aircraft in the circuit we finished the shoot. Nick and Kel worked wonderfully in front of the camera and I feel honoured to have been given the opportunity to capture some images that they can cherish! At the conclusion of the shoot we decided it was only fitting to head into the smelly cheese shop to get some gelato as a nice treat for all the hard work in the heat. Thankyou Nick and Kel for a very fun and energetic shoot!

I am now preparing for a huge weekend ahead! On Saturday I have Jacinta and Shannon's Wedding, and then on Sunday I have a trash the dress shoot. Busy Busy weekend! But I cant wait! feeling very inspired to get out there and capture some more beauiful memories! Will post sneak peaks at the end of the weekend!

A Day of Planning

The past two days have been somewhat productive for Candice Campbell Photography. A lot of planning is taking place. Today I am working on the planning for the next lot of upcoming weddings and photoshoots. Busy times are ahead. This weekend I will be doing a shoot of Nick and Kel, a lovely Newcastle couple. I am also trying to squeeze in a trash the dress shoot on Sunday. The following weekend I have the wedding of Jacinta and Shannon up at Bennetts Beach, Hawks Nest and then shortly after the wedding of Dannielle and Kaine at King Edward Park. Looking forward to all these upcoming projects. I am currently grouping together my inspiration for the various different locations and looking forward to creating something magical for all these couples to enjoy for the rest of their lives!

Thank you all for allowing me to play such a huge part in such a special time of your lives!

Maddy and Matt

Last weekend I had the pleasure of shooting Maddy and Matt. The day had a very vintage theme to it, from Maddy's dress from the 60's that was previously worn by her grandmother to the tiger moth aircraft circa 1935. The day started at the Royal Newcastle Aero Club with some very speedy photos with the tiger moth. Due to the high winds and Anthony the CFI having to hold the wings of the tiger moth for us, we decided to call it quits pretty early there. After leaving the aeroclub we headed to Lorn to get some photos in an old hay barn. On the way there, we stopped off on a dirt road to take a few quick photos before continuing on to the barn. The barn was rather fun for photos and gave us that bit of shelter from the wind which allowed us to spend a bit of time getting the photos we wanted. From there we headed to Morpeth to a large confeild to finish off. And what an awesome location for a photoshoot! I will definately be using it again!

Today I did a bit of corporate photography for Hunter Valley Lattice. So I have a few more things to work on now.
