This past weekend was another busy busy one for Candice Campbell Photography. On Saturday I had a wedding at my absolute favourite venue, Tocal Homestead and Sunday I had a family shoot with one of my past couples Kelly and Adrian on their family farm. Both days had to most spectacular Autumn light! I love autumn light! of every season of the year, Autumn is by far my favourite to shoot in.
Chris and Annie's wedding out at Tocal Homestead was just stunning. There was not a cloud in the sky! We spent the afternoon shooting all over the beautiful grounds of the homestead with me getting overly excited about the light. My car even got chased by the clydsdales in the front paddock. Annie had a beautiful cathedral veil that looked sensational in the photos. Anyone who has ever met me would know about my obsession with cathedral veils. After the sun went down, the night gave way to a starry clear night with a huge full moon. This made for a great backdrop for some outdoors images, even though the weather outside was getting very chilly! Congratulations Annie and Chris! Have a fabulous honeymoon in Fiji!
Late on Sunday afternoon I made my way over to Adrian's family farm in Largs for their family shoot. We had a great time catching up on life post wedding. Adrian's son Tyler was all for posing which made my job so easy. And then that sensational Autumn light came again and I was overflowing with inspiration! The sneakies from that shoot still to come! I'll keep you posted!
