Last night ended up being a very awesome night. Yesterday afternoon, the descision was made to take an impromptu trip to Sydney to attend the JDSM Style Tuning Car Meet. It turned out to be a very worthwhile trip as I got to photograph some really great cars! The lighting in the Fox Studios car Park was absolutely ideal! Just having a flick through the photos now, and I'm pretty pleased with the results. Looking forward to the next Meet!

Happy Australia Day from Wakefield Track Day
Australia day for me this year involved a big day of shooting motorsports at Wakefield Park. Was a great day for photography, awesome light, the only thing that made the day hard was the heat. I found my forehead sweating so much that it would run into my eyes and make it hard to see through the viewfinder. Challenging to say the least! But was very happy with the results of the day and would like to say a big congratulations to the boys from Team IS. You all did very well!

Busy Busy Weekend!
Wow! Tuesday already! It was definately a busy weekend. Saturday was Tess and Brendan's wedding and sunday was a mock trash-the-dress shoot in the Bogey Hole. It was a great weekend of shooting!
A big congratulations to Tess and Brendan on their special day! You looked wonderful and I am proud to have been a part of your day. The ceremony and reception was held at Longworth House in Newcastle. What a beautiful location for a wedding! So Stunning! I particularly loved the mirror wall at the front of the ceremony hall. Beautiful! It allowed for some really creative photos during the ceremony.
Sunday's shoot was a lot of fun! Up there with some of my funnest shoots. A huge thank you to Kieran and Lucy for the hard work they put in to create some spectacular images! Another huge thankyou to our MUA Amanda for having to do Lucy's makeup in the wind. Not the most ideal conditions.

For this shoot we headed down to the Bogey Hole and did some mock trash the dress style photos in the water. It was nice and windy outside, but luckily the water was the most divine temperature! I was more than happy to submerge myself to take the photos. Luckily the bogey hole isnt deep, or camera could have gone for a swim. The shoot was made even more magical towards the end as we got some lovely flare that allowed for me to really get creative with camera. Very ideal conditions for shooting! Looking forward to getting in now and working on a few more...

Welcome 2011
Well here we are, a new year almost a month in already! This year there are many many projects on the cards. Many weddings, trash the dress, fashion and motorsports shoots coming up in the next few months.
Today I begin my planning for this weekends shooting. Getting my gear all cleaned and good to go. Tommorrow is the wedding of Tess and Brendan at Longworth House in Newcastle. Looking forward to it! It's a great venue. The following day is a trash the dress shoot at the Bogey Hole in Newcastle. Very excited about the prospect of getting my swimmers on and getting in the water to shoot! A fun weekend ahead of me!

On Wednesday night I attended Tess's Hen's Night to do a photoshoot of her guests. This was a very creative idea and all of Tess's guests enjoyed the phtoshoots hugely! And what better location to do the shoot in, than Longworth House!
