Their heartfelt ceremony filled with plenty of smiles and tears was held next to the beautiful water fountain at East Maitland Golf Club. During the ceremony there was a beautiful balloon release for family members who were no longer with us.
After the ceremony, we set of for Morpeth for our location portrait time. We spent a fair amount of time utilizing the grounds of Closebourne, before we set off for Hinton for more portraits. While we were at Hinton shooting bridal portraits of Ash and Kurt in the willow trees on the river bank, Kurt thought it would be a fabulous idea to swing like Tarzan from a willow branch. So cameras ready Merindah and I started shooting the whole sequence, until both Ash and Kurt ended up in a crumpled heap of wedding dress and broken Willow branch on the ground! After many laughs about how hilarious it was, Ash decided she wanted to roll down the Levee bank, and so, bride and groom both laid down on the bank and rolled down. I was laughing so much I was crying!
Thank you both for having Merindah and I there to share your very special day with you. I will be forever smiling about the willow tree and levee bank!
