Mountain Trails and Falling Leaves

I love Autumn, I really really do! I'm pretty sure its my most favourite season to shoot in. The colours are just divine and the light! Oh that dreamy light!

Todd and Lisa's engagement shoot was a perfectly beautiful autumn day, and what better location to shoot it in than the Watagans! We started the shoot along some of the wider 4x4 tracks, hoping for some motocross riders to come down the hill making for an awesome addition to the photos, but unfortunately, they didn't want to be riding on the track we needed them on. From there we made our way up to the Pine Forest, which is always a favourite spot of mine to shoot. We had some beautiful light streaming down through the trees. While waiting for the light to drop some more, we took a little trek down to the small trickling waterfall for a few more nice images. And my god was the water cold!!! After a few more images back in the Pine Forest, we jumped back in my car and set off for Martinsville where we had spotted a little area on the side of the road with incredible red and orange foliage  both on the trees and the ground. While here, some leaf angels were and and many leaves were thrown around. Our last stop of the day was back in Cooranbong Park and a cute little bridge over the creek.

Can't wait for my next shoot in the Watagans!
