Man Caves and Transmission Lines

I love a winter wedding! I really really do! They always get the most amazing warm light, despite the cool temperatures. Kylie and Jason's big day was no different. A nice cool day, with glorious warm light!

Kylie and Jason's ceremony was held in front of the beautiful big dam at Wandin Estate. The sun glittering off the water just perfectly. The couple had created a stunning arch way for Kylie to enter through out of old antique doors and beautiful dried vines weaving across it. I only wish I could have it in my own backyard!

After the ceremony we jumped into the cars and set off for our locations. First stop was an awesome little bridge in Pokolbin. We started to get a light sprinkling of rain as soon as we jumped out of the cars, so the umbrellas were needed. The bridge made for an awesome backdrop with all the bolts and rivets and peeling paint, but turns out it was a very very busy bridge, and me laying in the middle of it was quite and inconvenience to all the traffic. Thankfully people were patient and waited. Our next stop was a cool property in Rothbury that had the absolute epitome of an amazing man cave! By this stage it had started to get very cold, so the girls wrapped themselves in some gorgeous crocheted wraps. Our next stop was a cool driveway and paddock on the side of the road that had some awesome transmission lines running through it.

By now it was starting to get dark and even more cold, so we jumped in the cars and made our way back to Wandin for the reception. The reception room in the Cricketers Pavilion was so warm, with a lovely blazing fire in the fireplace. The reception was full of candles and so many little hand made touches, and was just divine!

Thank you to Jason and Kylie for having us there to share your most special of days with you. It was incredibly beautiful!
