Back in Action!!

Hi Everyone!! It has been quite some time now since we have been on our blog, it has been neglected a little the poor thing. As most of you would already know, we have been in the process of moving into our new studio in Largs for some time now. Well we are now back up and running! In the mean time, a lot has gone on. We have had beautiful winter weddings, a trip to Gladstone, a number of portrait shoots and fashion shoots with a few bridal designers. Phew! Busy Busy!! So I better bring you all up to speed on whats happened over the past few months.

In late June, we had a winter wedding out at our favourite venue Tocal Homestead. Everyone knows how much I love a wet wedding, and this particular day, we certainly had some rain! Tocal was positively a slop heap! But that didn't stop Ben and Alicia from smiling all day!

After Ben and Alicia's wedding I head to Gladstone for a few weeks to spend time with hubby and spend a bit of time doing some landscape photography. Heres a few from my trip.

After I returned from gladstone, it was time for another awesome winter wedding! Megan and Adam were such troopers and were happy to go to some of my seriously obscure locations, including a very rusty abandoned house, the middle of a main road and a grocery store! I don't think we stopped laughing all day!

Early one morning i was met by Casey-Lee and Damien for a very early morning bridal shoot! This is just a quick one of theres as the rest of the shoot is still being worked on. It was a bitterly cold morning, but we managed to create some stunning images anyway!

Just last weekend I spent the day with Matthew and Kelsey, the most fun, down to earth couple I've ever met. We got along like an absolute house on fire which made it so easy to create stunning images for them. Thanks for being an absolute blast guys!!!

Hope you have all enjoyed this rather lengthy blog post! Tomorrow I will post again and update you with images from some portrait, pet portrait and bridal wear shoots!

Last wedding of Autumn!

This weekend I shot the last wedding of Autumn for this season. It was the beautiful wedding of Ellen and Aaron. The girls got ready in the awesome Yacht Club at Peppers Creek before heading to St Patricks of Nulkaba for the ceremony. While on location many laughs were had, butts were pinched, veils were pulled out of hair, dances were had and even a camera dropped. As the light started to disappear we made our way back to Peppers Creek Barrell Room for a beautiful candlelit reception. The fire was roaring in the open fireplace and created a really cosy atmosphere. A huge thankyou to Ellen and Aaron for spoiling us so much at the recpetion as well! The wedding cake was delicious!

Now that wedding season has finished for Candice Campbell Photography we are focusing our efforts on getting our new studio in Largs up and running! Won't be long now and we can do our big reveal!

Manicured gardens and cow paddocks

Another busy weekend has passed for Candice Campbell Photography. This weekend I had a lovely wedding at Hunter Valley Gardens and an engagement shoot.

Saturday was a lovely day with absolutely perfect weather! Mel and Daniel's wedding was held at the lovely little Chapel at Hunter Valley Gardens. Following the ceremony, We headed into the gardens for photos. Many laughs were had, stockings were torn and trains were dragged through ponds. I had a lot of fun on location with Mel and Daniel! After everyone had climbed into the hummer to make their way to the reception, we were blessed with the most magic light! So of course we had to make a slight detour and jump out at one of my favourite paddocks for a few quick golden light photos.

On Sunday I had an engagement shoot with a lovely couple who had travelled up from Sydney for the afternoon. Cynthia and Daniel jumped in my car and we made our way out through Paterson and went for a little bit of an explore past Vacy and Eaglereach. A lovely man even stopped when he saw us on the side of the road to ask if we needed help with our car. I love country people! As it started to get dark, we made our way back via Maitland for a few quick night photos. Thanks for travelling all the way up to the Valley guys!
